Voltage Regulator Connection Points (3 Unit Type)

Dear All,

Can a fellow member advice if the wires from generator (and battery) need to pass through these holes as they cone from the back of the regulator? Please see picture below
This is for a regulator mounted on the Left Side next to the coils (61-64 police models)

Not sure what you are asking about. What holes? The wires do not pass through any holes before they are connected.
