new rear chain

I have purchased Diamond chain from ebay vendor that box indicated made in China,not shown in pics..More aware I later purchased from another eBay vendor who showed the made in USA on box.
Packaging for both chains was identical except the very small country of origin print.

Regina is a good chain. 9,400 LBS of tensile strength. Still not the best in this comparison.

What is the purpose of having more tensile strength than what was needed when the stock motorcycle was manufactured? Do I need a semi to haul a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood when a F150 will do the job?
