  • '51 exhaust

I've been hitting the '51FL hot and heavy lately and enjoying it (mostly). The exhaust system has occupied me for the past 2 days getting pipes clean, and painted, and fitting the flexible chrome covers. For some reason, things are going well and it's been a rewarding project. The headers, and S pipe are genuine, and the Y pipe is from Gasbox so that has a lot to do with pipes fitting well. My only problem now is the front header clamp assembly that captures the pipe, and the frame, but that can be worked out. Hope I am not over staying my welcome at the AMCA forum as I know I have been on here more than usual. If so let me know. Personally, I enjoy seeing everyone's projects, and pictures.

Nope. The more the merrier. Go for it Eric. Who wouldn't want to see what others are up to. That's the whole point...

Nice old torque wrench, I have one just like it. Must be using that on another project, who needs that on an old HD. Motor looks real nice.

        Hello Eric,
Definitely not overstaying your welcome on the forum. Panhead project is looking great.
Sometimes fitting that "S" pipe can be a bear, but yours seems to fit really well.
Really enjoyed your posts on Seats, and your Scout project. Keep them coming .
