I am building a rigid frame panhead the hydra glide front end that I would like to use is prepared for a right side front brake hub. I am needing advise on this needing to know if my original star hubs and rim will work. looks like I will need to mount the tire with directional arrow in the right direction. Just wondering if this can be safely done and what else will need to be modified to make it work Thanks if you can help

A star hub will work fine on a right side drum. You will need to use the axle sleeve for a '66 and earlier model and a drum for a star hub but everything else is fine. The backing plate will be minus the grease shield but if you aren't crazy with a grease gun on the hub it will be fine, or you can add a shield.Robbie Knight Amca #2736
