Is the yellow wire that runs from terminal 5 on the ignition switch to terminal 25 behind the headlight for the spotlights?

I do not know for sure but logically 25 would be correct (I wired my 59 spots to 25). Its hot when the switch is in the ignition position so you can turn on the spots without the headlight. Terminal 10 is hot all the time so it wouldn't be correct. Terminal 9 is hot with switch in the lights position so no control of the spots w/o the headlight on.

I also wired a 66 to use 25 for spots based on the above. Curious if this is truly correct.

Factory spots were wired to only come on in the low beam position and went off when switched to high beam, a current saving trick. Police units were different with spots connected to hot at any ignition position. Dealer and owner installed spots had a variety of options depending on the owners wishes.

Anyone know what the #25 terminal was for? Obviously for an accessory or non factory use. Has me curious.

My 61-64 diagram shows only a yellow wire going to 25 and nothing coming off of it presumably for future use.
