I wonder what the difference is?

The red stuff did fantastic in my immersion tests, although it did stain..

    Common O-rings swoll into gummyworms.

    Soak one for us, Bob?

    PS: Please!
Well, I soaked one for 5 days in 'April 2021 87 octane' pump gas and absolutely no change. I am more than satisfied with these Viton from McMaster Carr. I recently took the manifold off one of my bikes for some top end service and the o-rings weren't trash, probably 10k miles guessing. I'm ok with that, could have gone longer, an o-ring is a serviceable item like everything else, nothing lasts forever. Buna doesn't even compare to these.

      Many thanks, Bob!

I'm encouraged enough to try MSC's, and see what color they are..

But please keep one soaking,.... And maybe change the soup occasionally: "Summer Blends" are upon us, and can remember some some products giving it up after six weeks.
