  • Idle/Circuit Breaker gear spacer differences 1965 FLH?

Rebuilding 65 FLH. Parts manual shows same part # for both idler gear and circuit breaker gear - 25800-36. Service manual says that they might be different sizes and in fact they are slightly different but I only realized this after I removed them without marking each one. Any idea which of these is the wider gear? Parts in question are labeled #112 in the diagram.

    Thanks

If the generator idler has excessive play, Gitguy,...

It just makes a little noise.

If the timer idler has excessive play, your timing can 'wander' with it!

Properly, the endplay for the timer idler is inspected with the front tappet block removed.
