Is there any way to tell which venturi goes inside the M-74B? Or put another way, I have an M-74B but how do I know it has the venturi that's supposed to go with it? What if it's for an M-17 or something?

I'll try to help if I can, I'm actually pretty good at these Carbs if I may say so. The M74B's (1/1/2" carb) venturi will measure 1 5/16" ID and will have only one hole in the center for the main jet nozzle, no other vents or notches should be present and both ends are rounded smooth. Look up Victorylibrary.com they have literature on these carbs that is very helpfull. -
