anybody ever use a V Twinn Electric starter York electric start kit

  • #2
A couple of my friends are using the one from Germany. It only adds a half inch thick addition to the kicker side cover along with the starter which is hidden VERY well. The kicker still works and once installed it is pretty hard to tell unless you are looking for it. I am thinking of biting the bullet, "A big one" and may install on my 58 rider. The ones that have it rave about it. I can forward you someone to discuss it with you as he is the one who is doing the install for my friends. There are a few refinements he has mastered with it. The only major, if that's what you want to call it, modification from original parts on a swing-arm bike, is on the tranny mounting plate in which he usually gets an aftermarket one to modify so NO original parts are altered.
