Is the correct PN listed for King Size bags in the 1948 rider accessory catalog? Should it be 11785-45 or 11785-48 or something else? Was it some kind of retrofit PN assignment or more likely a typo? Was PN 11785-45 used prior to 1948?
Notes:
I believe that King Size bags (with orange welt) were used for 1948, 1949, and part of 1950.
In the 1948 rider accessory catalog, PN 11785-45 is listed for King Size bags (with orange welt).
In the 1949 rider accessory catalog, PN 11785-48 is listed for King Size bags (with orange welt).
In the 1950 rider accessory catalog, PN 11785-48 is listed for King Size bags (with a part description that references orange welt and a part name that references red welt).
In the 1950 dealer accessory catalog, PN 11785-48 is listed for King Size bags (with red welt).
In the December 14, 1950 accessory news, PN 11785-45 is listed for King Size bags (with red welt). I assume that the reference to PN 11785-45 may be a typo, but (even if the reference is a typo) that may not automatically or necessarily mean that each earlier reference to PN 11785-45 is a typo.
