1948FL cylinder paint

Just from memory doesn’t VHT suggest a clear top coat? I have not used it since it first hit the shelves years ago, it may have changed and either way could be great, I am just curious.

eastwood has a two part heat paint, have used the black on my 39UL and the silver on my 48U, holds up pretty well, mix catalyst and paint, have about a 2 hour window of time to apply, brushes out nicely
