I run since years in each of my 4 Panheads a primary belt drive system from BDL 11mm. Many many miles with no problems and no service!
But, what I do is, I modify the breather hose coming from the crankcase to blast the oil behind the inner primary cover down to the earth or
with an extension directly to the rear chain sprocket of the gearbox - so I have no oil at the belt at any situation or time... George
