I decided to put an external oil filter on the 1950 EL that I'm trying to button up. I had one fairly complete O.E.M. filter. The 1954 Spare Parts Catalog shows the exploded view, but I see a gasket 63874-50 that goes at the top of the stud. I'm guessing that this gasket goes between top mounting stud and the aluminum filter cap. If that is the case, then I'm thinking that it is still intact. I'm not seeing that gasket in the gasket kit that I got from Ted's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Craig CIMG1255.JPGCIMG1252.JPGCIMG1253.JPG
