I missed this post. This says that whatever the float level height from the top of the bowl, it is the fuel level that is important, and that this should be 5/8" from the top of the bowl?

I think I need to check that!

Just for clarity, Folks,..

A float setting of ¼" produces a fuel level of 5/8".

(Assuming the float is of reasonable buoyancy!)

PS: I don't think you could get a float down to 5/8" without a racing bowl.
