The seller is a true artist. . . B.S. artist.

Is the seller available to defend himself?

Or is he judged in absentia.

      Badger34!

Can you educate us all to the faults?

Thanks much if you will,.. Its hard for those of us who have never been close enough to smell one.

This one is factory NOS... surrounded by two factory used ones. The painted one has been on one of the the drawer fronts of my toolbox for 40 years..Tho gold finish is how they came new, the brass is how they aged as the finish came off.

I think the seller is saying his item was used somehow in the manufacturing process of the medallion?

He thinks it is some sort of mold, the problem with that is they did not use a "mold" as they are not cast but are stamped with steel dies and then plated. The OEM badges are very thin so the detail in the stamping is crisp.

Did you look at the auction listing photos of the backside of the medallion? It's the heaviest cast 50th medallion I've seen...
I've never held one in my hands, Badger34!

              That's why I asked.

All the same, only one size and one finish for all models. Not like the '55 "V" badge with model variations.

Fox emblems for Harley-Davidson were exceptional examples of the tool & die making art. I don't know how Fox made their emblem tooling, but you can bet it was of the quality, and similar to coin die making. There is no quality comparison between Fox emblems, and reproductions. So, I don't think I need to hear anymore B.S. from this seller.

                      He should be banned!

                      Off with his head!

(Is he even on this forum?)
