I was doing a little research on 50-51 Panheads and found that Palmer's 2nd edition states that 1950 was the last year for no reinforcements on the pans. My 51 600 mile op 51 pan has no reinforcements either. Must have been a running change in 51. I post this in case anyone is restoring an early 51. I don't know what the cutoff vin would be but mine is 1392.
