Has anyone had success with using JB Weld without a rivet on plumber intake nipples. What was the diameter of the original rivets?

I used it many times, Robert!

Until it began to fail in my fuel immersion tests.

Bondo Muffler and Tailpipe sealer survived.

Rivets are prudent.
