1961 Pan Head hardware

Can anyone tell me the preferred method of restoring hardware such as case bolts, axles and nuts, bracket hardware etc.

Also, can you recommend the best manual for restoring to the most accurate cosmetically.

So you are the final judge, as it should be.

As far as a "manual", most of us (concerned with H-Ds) consult Palmer's first.

Restore or refinish? Parkerizing and Cadmium plating put new finishes on old hardware.

You can easily do your Parkerizing ay home. Parkerizing chemical can be purchased on eBay.
