    IMG_1485.jpgIMG_1486.jpgIMG_1487.jpgIMG_1488.jpg

Can anyone help me identify this hubcap? I purchased it in this box but the box was opened. I've been told that it's a 1949 first year HydraGlide hubcap but I can't find any information on it.

    Thanks in advance, Scott

Thats a springer hub cap. I just sold the NOS one that I had it was also still in the original box.

      Matt,

Aside from the -48 part number how do you tell a springer one from a glide one? I have seen some springer ones that are smaller. Are those HD or aftermarket?

Would '49 only, be stainless steel? Just wondering.

                Folks,

                Mine wasn't stainless.
I put the unique centerpiece into a repop, but the original rusty dome is now a lampshade.
