Hello to all
Been a long time since I posted anything here. Life gets busy and well, you all know the rest.
Anyway, I have a 49 EL with the Linkert carb. I'm getting about 50 miles before she sputters and need for reserve.
I know it's a 3.5 gallon tank but I can't fill her up to the brim because of the slant she sits on while filling her. I use a small shim under the jeffery stand to make her sit more upright.
What should I expect to get for milage? There is no windshield and I weigh 220lbs. no bags either (although I would love to find a set). Roads are mostly flat. today's speed reached 60mph for about 15 miles or so.
