I think it's a very nice '48. I have a '48FL myself and as I jokingly say; I think it's the best knucklehead. The panhead motor looks so good in that pre Hydra-Glide chassis. This bike looks to have all the correct stuff, and with the parts the seller is including, it can be made very correct. My '48 is flight red but I do like the all black look of this bike, and the nice balance of chrome. I think this bike is going to be bid rather high, but '48s are quite sought after on their own merits, and they don't have to play second fiddle to a '47.

As pointed out by Rubone on the CAIMAG site, there are issues with the heads at the intake nipple rivets. Just for looks, that should be addressed but the owner says it's a good runner.
