Finishes

Here I go again. Does anyone know what the finish for the kickstand bracket, the brake pedal and bracket was for the 57 Hydra Glide? Also, the shifter arm bracket where it bolts to the frame, was it parkerized, painted and if so what color, or cadmium plated. Couldn't find it in the Palmer book index and it didn't say under the plating and painting details. I may just have brain burn

Check Bruce's again but go to Appendix C. It has finishes list if they were different from what he lists under each specific year. I might be mistaken but I believe the kick stand bracket, brake pedal and bracket were parkerized. I think the shifter arm bracket was cad.

Thanks Bob! I can't even find the appendix c. It has got to be brain burn. This might have been to big a task for my first bike build. Half the time I have not a clue what they are talking about.
