Wire Colors questions

I just purchased a repop wire harness for my 50 FL project, my original is pretty well worn. The new harness has all wires with tracers, no solid colored wires, which I think to be incorrect. First question is this correct?
Could the incorrect wires be colored with leather dye,nail polish or what in order to hide the tracers on wires that should not have tracers?

Anyone have an original harness so that they can verify that some of the wires were solid and not all with tracers? I really need some answeres on this before I mess up my repop harness.
