Can anyone help me with any informaion on the Cleveland Casting Company please. I understand that in the 60s and 70s they made replacement cases for Harleys. You sent your (usually) right hand case to them and they cast, machined and matched a perfect fit replacement left hand case to it. I have a rebuilt motor with a supposedly CCC replacement and just wanted some detail. The number boss is blank and there is an approx 1 1/2" letter M cast below the rear cylinder base. I was told they may have been taken over by Ford.
Thanks for any details.
