is there a way to determine how true perpendicular to level surface, the frame is.
i levled the frame and put levels on the motor mounts and transmission mounts both are level, i put a digital protractor on the same mounts and have .8 deg off center difference between the front mount and tranny mount.
I laid the frame on the side and leveled it, got a reading on the backbone at .7 and 1.2 on the neck there is a .5 degree difference from perpendicular.
is this acceptable?
do original harley frames come out perfect from factory or is there a deviation from 360 deg tolerance that is acceptable?
