    1954 Panhead taillight lens

    Did the 1954 taillight lens have Guidex on it . Has anyone ever seen A Guidex lens with a revision number at the bottom . Thansk for your time

    The 1954 lens will say Harley Davidson on the top. On the bottom it will say GUIDE R-H followed by a single digit number. Above that you will find a very small number, usually upside down. I just looked at David Jackson's collection of original paint 1954's and I did find ONE that had the GUIDEX script on it. Was it original? I can't answer that but David said it was on the bike when he bought it over 20 years ago.
