  • 1965 Panhead saddlebag support finish?

    Hi Specialists,
    how was the original finish of the saddlebag support brackets 90875-63+90877-63,
    for the spring clips 90949-63A and for the backing plates 90963-63+90964-63 ?
    cad, zinc or ...?

    I am pretty sure the brackets were cad, and the other two zinc. Mike

      All that I have seen were cad.

        Here is a shot of mine a couple years ago when I was checking out the brakes. It is cad plated, (with a little iron moss)

          Yep that's how I remember it. BTW - I like that your mud flaps aren't attached to your fenders I have the fairly rare HD old style NOS Black and White ones (a pair of each) No way I am going to drill holes and mount them to the fenders
