had someone try and polish my aluminium valve cover for my 62 panhead and could not get it polished , had a dark (like oil ) in places that would not shine any ideas on how to make them look new ???? Thanks Esquire

Last winter I used mothers paste on mine and it worked well. Mine still have the original anodize on them and it did not remove it and just cleaned them up. Chris is right, you do not a highly polished finish to be correct.Comment
