    Back with more tire questions

I asked a while ago the quality between the Avon SM 2 and the Eagle 100 copy. Decided to stay with the Avon. Recently I saw a knuck with Firestone deluxes on it. Sidewall lettering was amazingly authentic looking, a very good looking tire. Can't get a good picture from Coker or Universal to see if theirs look the same as I described. Can anyone tell me about these and an opinion of quality compared to the Avon SM? They will go on my 51 FL when it's finished (hopefully soon).

The Firestone knockoffs are made by Coker. They are very authentic looking. They have some small print mandated by the DOT down by the bead, (load range info I think) that the originals don't have . They do not say made in USA like the originals. They are a good quality tire but they wear out real fast. I have used several and have had no problems except I only get about 4-5 thousand miles on them.

Thanks, for the info. I may give them a try. I know they'll look good anyway.
