  • sealing old tanks

    what is the best place to send out gas tanks and to be coated,, resealed inside before I paint them

    Look in your yellow pages under radiators. Find the shop that has the RENU logo in their ad.

        If that doesn't work out check out Moyers Tank Service in PA. Just google them.They guarantee their work won't leak ever. Pretty bold claim but seems to stand behind that. The whole process and pics are posted on their web site. From what they show they have taken stuff most folks would thow out and redone them.

            just an update had the tanks resealed inside by a place called Fingers Radiator in New Brunswick New Jersey. I did not have any paint on the tanks so no loss there. They tapped a plug on the r/s tank underneath not visiable and used a soultion to coat the inside. not sure of the material but all is sealed. They told me the renu system would not work with the tanks I had. they had them ready in 2 days. looks good to me
