  • Toolbox locks????

    Is there anywhere I can find OEM or repop locks for a '50s' kidney toolbox ?? I've checked with Clete, to no avail....Thanks in advance..Baker.....

    Is the one ya have beyond fixing? I just got done doing a couple of these. I can easily walk ya though it. That thing is a Houdini lock. You'll never figure out how it works until ya take one apart. I know of no aftermarket source. Bob L

      There is no lock... unfortunately, I've got a decent original toolbox. Maybe I can get a repop and just use the lock...

        What year are you looking for? It sounds like you have a 55- 57 which are the same as erlier with out the lock. They had a thumb screw. I am in need of one of these. Bob L
