I have had factory aluminum oil lines in the past, may even have one now, just never had one attached to a bike so i never knew what they came on. I always sort of thought early '50s since they did the other odd aluminum stuff then, pushrod tubes, lifter blocks, etc. Something to research for sure!

I have an aluminum line, but for a Duo-Glide oil filter. It was in with a pile of parts so I do not know who the manufacturer was. Could the nickel wash plating, which I assume would be both on the inside and the outside, fool someone with a magnet such that the assumption is if it is not steel it must be aluminum? It would be interesting to find one to check closer.
