    Sh-2 spot lights??

I have a few sets of long stem SH-2 spot lights stashed away and I noticed that one set does not have SH-2 stamped into the stem. They all have the adjustment screw in the back and all have guide mark stamped into the bucket. Why do these not have SH-2 stamped into the stem are they early? I have no idea but I have seen a few other sets like that around on other bikes. Anybody know anything about these lights?

Did I ask a question that no one on here has an answer to?

Apparently you did. I checked my long stemmed spot lights and the only difference I noted is the early 1949 ones without the focus adjustment screws. Jerry

I have several sets of these lights, most are either loose or on restored bikes so they can't be used to determine year of manufacture. Most have the SH-2 markings. I did find 4 lights without the markings though. Then I looked at my original paint 47FL and it doesn't have the markings. I also have a pair that were taken off an original paint 48 and they have the markings. Draw your own conclusion I guess.
