  • Source for Wheel Builds?

I have some surface rusty 18" Knuckle wheels (one with a minor curb ding), used 1940 - 43 Star Hubs and OEM hub parts and spokes, and wanted to know any recommendations on trusted vendors for wheel rebuilds/restoration. I believe I saw someone recommended on here over a year ago, but can't seem to find it via search.

    Thanks!

Buchannan's doesn't have cadmium plated spokes nor do they rebuild hubs. Pico wheel can take the ding out of you rim but they don't lace or true motorcycle wheels.

We make new 18" Rims - Our rims are made in Los Angeles, CA and are of high quality.
I have just finished another batch of rims and we have dimpled the rims but we have not pierced them yet.

I can copy any Harley 18" rim piercing/nipple pattern and duplicate your wheel
If you would like to see the Indian version of the rim, I will have them in Davenport.

These rims are a much higher quality than the other 18" rims that are made for Harleys that are made overseas in India. Harley owners that have looked at our rims have remarked, if they are restoring a bike for personal use, they would use ours, but if restoring it for resale/auction they would use the India rims due to cost.

I have not advertised them to Harley owners due to the cost difference of the India rims vs my USA made rims.
Our rims retail for $240 Black powder coated - and as I said we can duplicate any piercing/nipple angles.

We can also lace them up with Buchanan spokes and either have steel spokes made and cad plate them or glass bead the stainless steel spokes to make them look like cad.

We have also sold these rims to Buchanans and they can also pierce and lace them up for you.

            Sincerely,

Pico has completed the rim and spoke restoration, and have painted the hubs, but I need someone to go over the hub internals and make sure they are OK and restore as required. Sounds like Buchanon doesn't do hubs and neither does PICO ... any other suggestions?
