    Cold Bending

    Will,

I cold bent a 1" pair of cycle drag bars into boardtrack replicas for a bike project. I got a cheap hydraulic mandrel tube bender from Harbor Freight. Plug one end of the bar and pack it full of sand. Then plug the other end. That helps keep the kinks out. Then I just measured everything and used the same number of strokes on the pump on each side. They were only about an 1/8" side to side, which was good for my first attempt.
