    When using stock saddlebags was the toolbox mounted in the upper or lower posistion

        Quoting Bruce Palmer:
        On 1940 models the tool box was always mounted high. On 1941-1947 models, some frames were provided with two sets of mounting holes (all 1944 and later frames came with two sets of mounting holes). None-radio models mounted the tool box high whereas radio models mounted the tool box low.
