droooooolllll----i'd like to find something like this again---i guess they are still out there. looks like the shock won't fit on an inline springer without cutting off the headlight bracket? any comments on that?

There is no reason to modify a shock mount type headlight bracket for any application. Big Twins were offset and 45s inline and all the pieces are the same for the shock and headlight mount.
