looking for info on the horn wiring on 37 bigtwins , did this year have a ground wire that ....used a nut -bolt inline on the wire for horn ? Chris ,any pics of this area ?

Flthead.
The 37 wiring is similar to that of 1936, a nut and bolt is used to join the headlamp switch common wire. This connection was moved to the top rubber horn mount in 1938 and I think possibly on late 1937 models .
The horn ground wire is connected directly to the horn switch.

I don't think that the screw and nut were original equipment. I have seen almost a half dozen metal wire connectors on original 36s and 37s. The connector is a little steel piece that uses an 8-32 fillister head screw to pinch the wires together. It is the same screw as 38 knucklehead top tins, the kind with the point on the end. I made up some really nice copies of them when I was in High School. I will try to remember to take a pic of one after the holidays, I figured you guys would like to see some nice reference pics of our new 37. It is an original paint 39,000 mile original paint bike. I rode it on our pre war knucklehead run this summer. I love this bike, anyways have a happy thanksgiving

Well I looked at all three pics, and it is apparent that none of them show the two sets of looms coming through the hole in the horn bracket. I didn't think that I needed to include this detail, because it is pretty common knowledge. The wires DO NOT run alongside the horn bracket, they go through it.

I have never seen an original wire connector before. This part was missing on my bike when I found it, so I remade the connection using a small screw and nut then covering it with the pitched sleeve like in your photos. Have you found the pictures of the connector yet? Have you got an original one you don’t need that I could use on a worthy project? (I know it cant be seen but it would be nice to have the correct one on my bike)
