Have seen badges with the circle G hallmark, that aren't brass, and brass badges without the hallmark. I'm not sure I've seen one both brass and with the hallmark, but I may be wrong. Why the difference? Is one later H-D replacement production part? I thought all originals are brass. Can anyone help here? Thanks, Vic.

The first ones were brass, and then they switched to steel sometime during the war. -
Chromed badges were brass and painted badges were steel.Be sure to visit;
