I just acquired a set of offset fork legs with a #16 casting on the front legs. I read in the palmer book that this is an extremely rare fork. He said he had only seen one. Im just curious if anyone can elaborate on this for me. I would like to know more about what I have. any info appreciated

They are not real common but I have seen a few of them. Every one I have seen is milled for relief. I suspect they are late 1946 items.
