i have a 46 that has been rebuilt by the previous owner???That I am checking over.I have service manuals parts manual & palmers books.BUt part number 469-15 plain washer is not fitted ? also it just has rubber seal over the rocker with none of the items from 54 to 58 .fitted spacers retaining rings.It just has seal 120-38.Can somebody pease give me some advice.

From your description it is impossible to know what you are asking. What does "from 54-58" refer to? You need to identify what you are referencing, and a picture would help.

So what year parts book as every edition is different? The most important one is the book from closest to the year of the bike, later editions fade off into the realm of fantasy.
