I question the depth of the digits in the serial number and I think that the right case matching number is restamped.

R-H case appears to have date code A 7? If so it indicates casting in Jan 47 and that case may well have been used for a 1947 model.
But the BN is not consistent with factory stamping. Notice the 4, 1 and 9. Notice the 7s are the same as each other instead of being different to each other and that 7 is neither of the types I’d expect for a 47 BN. Notice the dash is missing.
Also I don’t see 7 at top rear of the case and even if I did it wouldn’t help because of the BN problems.

Left BN appears to have been applied with the same stamps as the R-H BN and therefore it too is not consistent with factory stamping for the reasons I already mentioned.
SN is not consistent with factory stamping. Notice the 4s, 7, F, L and 1.
Again I don’t see 7 at top rear of the case and even if I did it wouldn’t help because of the problems with the BN and SN.
But one of the strangest things may be the date code because it looks like K 4? If so it would indicate casting in Nov 44.

Also I have other photos which suggest that the original version of those BNs were on cases with a different SN.
