  • Early Kicker arm identification

    Could members identify this kicker arm for me. I had been told 36 only? Palmer book shows it installed on a 40BT. Thanks.

    '40 was the last year for the small diameter muffler I believe so the dog leg was more pronounced on '41 and above.

      He might be referring to the lack of a center opposite the shaft.

        Roger that. My '40 does have the center. Could be incorrect. Thank goodness it's a bobjob. No points off.

          That is an early kick arm of which there are probably several variations. Jerry

            Thaks, guys was told this was 36 only do to no center hole or nipple opposite the shaft. Thought I had a hens tooth here. Just looking for confirmation. Weather there is a 36 only arm.

              Early '36 had no center hole. By '37 the center hole was there.
