  • 1937 tank decal

    I was told the tank decals had shellac around the edges ans sometimes the whole decal.Any thoughts on this

    Makes shellac a mess when you inevitably splash it.

    Clean-up makes it worse.

    Are you conserving a museum piece? (Hope so!)

      It was Copal Varnish, not shellac. It covered the whole transfer.
