47 rear fender

Just scored this fender and wondered about luggage rack mounting holes. Dimpled to accept counter sunk fasteners from bottom. Looks oem but makes installing comisky style rack awkward.C2667DF3-59E7-41F9-A49E-7A5B3378D9CF.jpeg

Not factory, No factory rack used dimpled mounting. But none of the other mounting hardware is correct either on the seat clip or saddlebag holes.

Thanks, Rubone. I scabbed in the seat clip, and the saddlebag fasteners are leftover from the previous fender, which was a combo one piece front and a 46 and earlier tail. It’s the dimples that have me scratching me head. They look so perfect. I’ve never seen a rack or rails that would have caused or required them to be there.
