Can someone tell me what size screw fits the brass terminal nut for the wire connection on the underside of a V-Twin repop fender light? I think oem is listed as 6-32 but the threads on the two I have are larger, like either size 8 or metric M4 but neither of those work in the threads. Thought I would ask before I re-tap.

So in the absence of any responses I gambled and ran an 8-32 tap in without pre-drilling and it re-threaded pretty well. The screw will need little torque so I expect no issues but in the unlikely event it later strips I can drill and rethread for a 10-32 screw.
