  • 6 volt coil

    Have v-twin coils gotten any less crappy in the last 5 years or so? I remember something about being wired backwards. I used one on a 57 about 10 years ago and got 2+ years out of it.

    No still crap & it doesn't matter how you wire these coils.OEM pics show both directions.

                  I will also agree that Jeff's coil is top notch, I have his 12v version on my Flathead. Ohms work with Ed's EBeyond 2000 electronic ignition very well. Went from changing coils yearly to having one that works as intended. And he is very professional to speak with on the phone.

                    I will 2nd that. I have 4 of his coils coils all with Ed's ignition. Jeff and Ed both excellent to work with..
