    1947 Throttle cable routing

Does anyone have a picture of how the throttle cable should be routed at the neck of the frame? Right now, my cable passes under the neck and between the front legs of the frame. When I put a sidecar bracket in that spot, the throttle cable is somewhat pinched. Also would like to see the throttle cable clamp on top of the head and whether the control cable remains on top of the engine, or passes underneath the rocker shaft. Palmer's book does not show any good pictures of this.

Palmer's page 754-755 will answer your questions.

Rubone, I thought I had the latest Palmer book but maybe I don't. My book only goes to page 640 but says Palmer III on the cover and spine. How many editions are there?

Palmer III is Bruce's name, he is the third. The book is either edition 1,2, or 3. Edition 3 is two volumes. My reference was to volume two of edition 3.
