6 inch round knuckle aircleaner

How can you tell an original 6 inch air cleaner from a repop? Originals sell for stupid money. There has to be some kind of tell tale sign?

From my handful of pics, Marty,..

Repops have flat-head tag rivets, and originals are button head.

And the rest oftener looks too new.

Which version? There are several. Early ones do not have a logo on them, attach with screws not slots. Next variation has a logo on a flat spot and also screws. Last version has the logo and J-slots.

Whereas a real one has round O's.

The early repops like Cotten posted has a very sharp corner and a straight edge profile. OEM's have a much more rounded corner and never really do go straight.
