    1947 knucklehead exhaust

    Hi Friends,
Wanted to know how and from where to buy the best exhaust for my 1947 knucklehead. I need the entire system.
    Thank you.

Looks like half the stuff you'd want/need is sold out.

I recently installed an exhaust system on a '37 knucklehead from Gasbox. . It's probably the best stuff available but still needs work to make it fit. The muffler was fine but the rear cylinder pipe was too long and had to be shortened to go into the muffler. The squash pipe had to be enlarge on the outlet end for the muffler to fit in. The front cylinder had to have a little more bend to fit into the squash pipe. You might want to contact them to see what is currently available. You might have to get any remaining pieces from other sources; V-Twin, JP Cycles. Several years ago Carl's Cycle Supply was making the muffler and rear cylinder pipe. The clamp set from Gasbox is fine.
